Meet Donna
Donna Finocchiaro is an entrepreneur, business woman, and professional organizer. She owns and operates Organized East of the River and is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, where she is a frequent speaker.
Donna graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She has worked as a Financial Manager and handled budgets as large as $365 million for Ames Department Stores, Casual Corner, Aetna, and Stanley Works.
Following a successful career in finance, Donna launched her professional organizing business in 2004. Capitalizing on her successful career, Donna became co-owner of the first retail store in Connecticut that specialized in organizational products and services.
Donna assists families like yours with life’s transitions - upsizing or downsizing a home, sending your child off to school, the birth of a child, whole house clear-outs, and the issues and decisions that surround elder care. Call us for any step in the process, no job is too small.

Whenever possible, Organized East of the River will defray your costs of Professional Services by assisting with the sale of unwanted items in your home. Private sales and estate sales are options used to generate the monies needed to offset transition expenses. Often times, homeowner's are unaware of the value of their unwanted belongings or the options available to sell them. While donations do not generate cash in hand, they may provide tax relief as an itemized donation. We will assist you with the paperwork needed to take this deduction.
