Meet Donna
Donna Finocchiaro is an entrepreneur, business woman, and professional organizer. She owns and operates Organized East of the River based in Marlborough, CT and is the founder of Wooden-it-be-Nice, Inc. located in South Glastonbury and the newly opened second location in Marlborough. Re-opened in January 2011, the Marlborough Wooden-it-be-Nice offers Polish Pottery, a women's boutique and a Home Design Studio.
Donna graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She has worked as a Financial Manager and handled budgets as large as $365 million for Ames Department Stores, Casual Corner, Aetna, and Stanley Works.
Following a successful career in finance, Donna launched her professional organizing business in 2004. Capitalizing on her successful career, Donna became co-owner of the first retail store in Connecticut that specialized in organizational products and services. In 2009, due to the expanding needs of her clients, and the downward economy, Donna opened a consignment furniture store. The store showcases quality, solid wood funriture and serves the needs of the region and community.
